Located on beautiful Balian beach in Banjar Pengasahan, Desa Lalanglinggah in the Tabanan district of Bali. Whilst Balian beach is just one and a half hours north of Denpasar international airport, it's a world away from the hustle and bustle of Kuta and Legian...no vendors, sellers, touters or hair plaiters here, just traditional villagers going about their everyday lives.

Pengasahan - Lalanglinggah
Pengasahan village used to be called Suraberata village is a small friendly farming and market village where traditional Balinese life goes on as it has for centuries. Here no-one hassles you or tries to sell you souvenirs. And during your stay you are welcome to join in the ceremonies or observe the day to day life of the friendly villagers here.

Tabanan
Tabanan district is renowned for it's stunning terraced rice fields overlooking the ocean and the mountain villages where top quality coffee and cloves are farmed.
The weather here is milder than the south and there is no need for air-conditioning as refreshing sea breezes keep you cool all year.

How to find us
Follow the Denpasar-Gilimanuk road west past Tabanan and turn left towards the ocean at Antosari intersection. Continue past Soka Beach to Lalanglinggah then cross large river and 300 metres further on turn left at Suraberata Market and Police Station. Follow this road through the village to the beach and turn left to find Pondok Pisces.
